Orlando Pirates confirm 10th signing as Mohau Nkota is replaced

Orlando Pirates have wasted little time in finding a replacement for Saudi-bound winger Mohau Nkota.

Pirates have confirmed the signing of exciting winger Kamogelo Sebelebele from TS Galaxy, making him their 10th signing so far.

The Buccaneers confirmed the addition of the forward to coach Abdeslam Ouaddou’s squad just a day after revealing the surprise departure of Nkota to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq.

“The 22-year-old winger joins the Buccaneers on the back of an impressive breakout campaign with TS Galaxy, where he featured in 29 matches and found the back of the net five times – a return that highlighted his attacking prowess and consistency throughout the season,” Pirates said through a club statement confirming the signing of Sebelebele.

New signing will not join Spain pre-season camp

“Sebelebele will join the group of players who remained in Johannesburg while the selected first team group embarked on their preseason tour in Spain. The Soweto Giants are currently in Marbella, where they have two remaining fixtures against Spanish outfits Las Palmas and Granada before returning home on July 20.

Kamoglo Sebelebele has signed for Orlando Pirates.

“While naturally a winger, the Limpopo-born star demonstrated his tactical adaptability last season by also excelling at both right back and left back – highlighting his versatility and dynamism he brings to Abdeslam Ouaddou’s squad.”

The winger primarily plays on the right wing and his arrival signals Pirates’ intent to fill the gap left by Nkota who lit up that side of attack last season.

The Buccaneers have now brought in 10 players so far being Sebelebele, Sipho Mbule, Yanela Mbuthuma, Masindi Nemtajela, Tshepang Moremi, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli and Oswin Appollis.
