Orlando Pirates midfielder Kabelo Dlamini is reportedly set to leave the Soweto giants when his contract ends at the conclusion of the current campaign.
Dlamini has found first-team opportunities limited this campaign, and sources close to the club suggest the player is eager to find a new team where he can secure more regular playing time.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic player’s current deal with the Buccaneers concludes in June, and speculation about his departure is growing. His last appearance for the team was in November 2025, with his absence officially attributed to an injury.

Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou recently addressed Dlamini’s status, confirming the midfielder’s fitness struggles. “Dlamini is injured at the moment. I don’t know if you know about that,” the Moroccan coach told the media. “He is coming back because he is undergoing rehabilitation.”
Despite the injury, insiders believe the 29-year-old has already decided to move on from the club this summer.
“Even with the injury, he could be leaving Pirates at the end of the season,” a source revealed to KickOff. “I believe he has already discussed the issue with his agent.”

Dlamini is one of the longest serving Pirates players as he has been at the club since 2018 when he joined from Celtic.
During his stay, he has scored 21 goals and weighed in with 23 assists in 1867 games, winning five trophies under ex-coach Jose Riveiro while he has featured nine times this term, all of them as a late substitute.
With his stock having fallen and with increased competition in midfield the 29-year-old appears to have decided to seek opportunities elsewhere when his current deal comes to an end.
