According to iDiski Times, “Pirates have officially parted ways with Gilberto after the end of his loan with Petro de Luanda.
“The Angola national team winger joined Pirates with much optimism back in 2024 and impressed during their pre-season in Spain but failed to establish himself in the first XI under then-head coach Jose Riveiro.
“He was subsequently loaned back to the Girabola giants where he was part of the league winning squad this past season. However, sources have now confirmed the player and Pirates have officially parted ways with the winger, one season before his contract was due to expire.
