Orlando Pirates Transfer News: Bucs confirm another signing

Defending Premier Soccer League champions Orlando Pirates have made another signing to strengthen their defensive department.

The Buccaneers were left with limited options at the right-back following the exit of Deanno van Rooyen and Thabitso Lebitso, the club tried to bring on board Thabang Matuludi but were beaten to his services by Mamelodi Sundowns.

Kamogelo Sebelebele has been doing the job well, but without another established player at right-back, the Sea Robbers were walking on a thin line explaining why Bulelani Sigomoshe has been signed.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Bulelani Sigomoshe from Milford Football Club,” the Sea Robbers confirmed.

“The 26-year-old right-back joins the Buccaneers with immediate effect, adding further depth and competition to the Club’s defensive options. Sigomoshe’s acquisition forms part of the Club’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the playing squad as the Buccaneers continue to pursue their objectives across all competitions.

“The defender will link up with the technical team and his new teammates immediately as he begins the next chapter of his career in the famous black and white.

“Orlando Pirates welcomes Bulelani to the Buccaneers family and wishes him every success at the Club,” they concluded.

They have parted ways with Relebohile Mofokeng (Royale Union Saint-Gilloise), Gilberto, Karim Kimvuidi, Thabiso Lebitso (Stellenbosch), Tshegofatso Mabasa, Sipho Mbule, Bandile Shandu, Gomolemo Khoto (Sekhukhune United), Siyabonga Ndlozi (Sekhukhune United), Tshepho Mashiloane (Sekhukhune United, Loan), Thabiso Sesane (Siwelele FC), Selaelo Rasebotja (Siwelele FC), Siyabonga Ndlozi (Sekhukhune United), Gomolemo Khoto (Sekhukhune United), Sonwabo Khumalo (Midlands), Blessing Ngiba (Midlands), Seth Green (Durban City), Melusi Buthelezi, Neo Mokoena (AmaZulu), Goodman Mosele (Chippa United), Deano van Rooyen (Released), and Patrick Maswanganyi (Alkhaldiya Sports Club, Bahrain).
