‘Pirates now act as if they love Mbule! Chiefs are disappointed but Sipho doesn’t love football’

Published on by

Ex-Orlando Pirates midfielder Sipho Mbule recently made a surprising move to Zakho SC who are plying trade in the Iraqi Stars League.

The 28-year-old struggled to deliver for the Sea Robbers, especially in the second half of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League campaign, even after his impressive showings in the early stages of the season.

There were reports that Kaizer Chiefs might go for the talented and versatile Bafana Bafana international, but it wasn’t the case.

Have a look at reactions from Mzansi football lovers as sampled by Afrik-Foot.
