Orlando Pirates have added a few quality players ahead of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League campaign.
Among those who were signed is the 23-year-old midfielder Kamogelo Sebelebele, who had an impressive campaign with TS Galaxy. In the 2024/25 edition, he played 29 games with a return of five goals and two assists.

He joined the Buccaneers alongside Sipho Mbule (free), Yanela Mbuthuma (Richards Bay), Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu), Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka) and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch), Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City), and Azola Tshobeni (Chippa United).
Sebelebele has since justified his move from the Rockets to the Soweto giants, who are keen on making a statement under new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.
Everyone wants to play for Orlando Pirates
“It has been good; I’m so grateful to be here, and looking forward to helping the team and contributing in trying to win the league, CAF Champions League, and many other trophies,” he told the club's media team.
“Obviously, Orlando Pirates is a big team. Everyone wants to play for Orlando Pirates. One of the reasons I chose the club is because I grew up supporting Orlando Pirates. I am looking forward to that challenge [of breaking into the first XI]. I know it won’t be easy. I have to push and focus on improving and helping the team.
“Every game is tough in this league, but obviously, Orlando Pirates is a big team, and we can’t afford to lose against any team in the league. They are coming to Orlando, so we have to win.”
The midfielder might make his Premier Soccer League debut for Pirates on Saturday against Sekhukhune United.
