Premier Soccer League champions Mamelodi Sundowns are set to dine with the big boys in the Fifa Club World Cup starting on June 14 in the United States.

Masandawana made it to the prestigious global competition alongside Esperance of Tunisia, Egyptian champions Al Ahly and Botola Pro League outfit Wydad Casablanca.

The Miguel Cardoso-led Sundowns have been placed in Group F with Flamengo, Ulsan HD, and Borussia Dortmund. Their first game will be on June 17 against the South Korean outfit.

What is the projected value of the three teams in the pool per Transfermarkt? Where does Masandawana lie?

Borussia Dortmund

The Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are one of the teams tipped to get out of the group owing to the quality within their squad.

The Niko Kovac-coached team is valued at  € 477.90, which is about R9,9 billion, making it the most valuable team in Group F.

The 20-year-old winger Jamie Gittens is the most valued player in the squad, with €50 million valuation (R1.03 billion). Karim Adeyemi and Serhou Guirassy are both valued at  €45 million which is about R9 billion.

Fluminense

The Brazilian heavyweights are also one of the teams with talented players in the competition.

Winger Jhon Arias, who is 27 years old, is the most expensive player in the team with  €17 million (R352 million) on his head. The Colombian is followed by Martinelli, who is the defensive midfielder valued at €10 million (R252 million), and central midfielder Hercules, who is valued at €7 million (R145 million.

Mamelodi Sundowns

Masandawana come third in Group F rankings thanks to their €35.25 million-valued (R730 million) squad that won the Premier Soccer League for the eighth time in a row, as well as reaching the Caf Champions League final but narrowly lost to Pyramids.

South American versatile attacker Lucas Ribeiro is the most expensive player in the squad with a €2.5 million (R52 million) valuation. Iqraam Rayners comes second with R50 million, while Teboho Mokoena comes third with a valuation of R48 million.

Ulsan HD

The South Korean outfit is the least expensive team in Group F and are seen as the side with almost none-existent chances of making the knockout phase.

They are valued at €14.90 million (R308 million), with their most expensive player being the 28-year-old striker Erick Farias, valued at €1.5 million (R31 million). He is followed by a €1 million (R21 million) duo of Um Won-sang and Darijan Bojanic
