‘Mamelodi Sundowns were robbed! Time for Pirates to skin Chiefs alive’

Published on by

Mamelodi Sundowns conceded late on Wednesday night in the Premier Soccer League outing at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium to share the spoils with Stellenbosch.

The result left Masandawana second on the table with 57 points from 24 games, behind Orlando Pirates, who have 58 points, having played a game more. This weekend, Bucs face Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby at the FNB Stadium while the Brazilians will be away to Richards Bay.

Tshegofatso Mabasa almost gave me a heart attack! I’m just glad he was alert enough to score the rebound. Now it’s time for Bucs to skin Kaizer Chiefs alive on Sunday –  Rabotlhoko Tlhabane

I once told a Sundowns fan who said they will win all the remaining games that football is unpredictable. Sundowns are a great team, but they aren’t machines; they are humans, and humans make mistakes. That’s part of being human. And I say to you, you have a game in hand and 5 more games to play. You are not going to win all those matches as long as you are still playing with humans, not machines –  Yanga Nzalela

This draw is on the players, we don’t wanna attack, busy playing back passes. At least we see the importance of Nuno Santos in terms of our chance creation now –  Luvuna Kubeka

Khulumani Ndamane thinks Sundowns are TS Galaxy, how can he make such tackles inside the 18 area while we’re chasing the league – Micha Maila Jr.

Orlando Pirates needed this hope; they will fumble against Kaizer Chiefs – Sebata Thato

Sundowns were robbed of a clear goal, but it’s fine, we move it serves the boys right because they scored one and relaxed – Sibusiso Thabethe

When they’re not winning, they blame Khoza, but when they’re winning, they’re after Khoza’s gap – Shegos Sgs Mashego

We said sundowns will drop points, and people were swearing at us that goal difference doesn’t win the league, watch the space – Juli Ntimane

Miguel Cardosso should know that if he can’t win a trophy this season, he is going to see the exit door – Redemption V-jay R Mapatwana

Keanu Cupido deserves to start in that position; he’s proven himself – Mbongeni Ndlovu
