Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has made a decision about his future that is sure to send chills down spines at the sharp end of Spanish football.
Afrik-Foot previously reported interest in the 27-year-old from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with the former considered the player’s preference pending their ability to fulfil LaLiga’s registration rules. Diego Simeone’s Atletico, in the market for another forward, are also keen.
It now appears that Lookman is less wedded to the idea of a move to Camp Nou than many believe, as he has given the green light to a different suitor entirely.

Ademola Lookman remains loyal to Nerazzurri
Per Gianluca Di Marzio, the Atalanta man has agreed terms with Serie A giants and UEFA Champions League finalists Inter.

Fresh from their struggles at the recently concluded Club World Cup, Inter are keen to reinforce in attack, with Iran international Mehdi Taremi and Austrian Marko Arnautovic both expected to leave the club. As such, they have identified Lookman, who was long courted by Napoli, as the ideal third striker for their bid to regain the Scudetto.
While personal terms have been agreed, however, it remains to be seen whether Inter’s impending bid, believed to be €40 million, will be enough to sway Atalanta, who throughout the summer have been adamant about their €60 million valuation.
