Top 10 African players on EA Sports FC 27: Where do Super Eagles rank?

Published on by , updated on

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have a few representatives among Africa’s top 10 players on EA Sports FC 27, but none leads the continent’s rankings.

Achraf Hakimi has taken the top spot with an overall rating of 88, moving ahead of Mohamed Salah, who has been rated 87. Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen is among the players tied on 85, while Ademola Lookman completes the top 10 with a rating of 83.

The latest ratings are a big change from EA Sports FC 26, when Salah led the African rankings with 91. They also show how the game’s assessment of some of Nigeria’s leading players has shifted.

Where Super Eagles stars rank amongst EA Sports FC 27 African stars

3. Victor Osimhen | ST | Nigeria | 85

Victor Osimhen remains one of Africa’s highest-rated players, but his overall rating fell from 87 in FC 26 to 85 in FC 27.

The Galatasaray striker shares the 85 rating with Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy and Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo.

Osimhen’s card retains important strengths, including 89 pace, 84 shooting and 86 physicality, making him one of the most imposing African forwards in the game.

His rating keeps him among the continent’s leading players, even though he loses some ground compared with the previous edition.

10. Ademola Lookman | ST | Nigeria | 83

Ademola Lookman is the other Nigerian in the top 10, with an overall rating of 83.

The Atlético Madrid forward has dropped one point from his FC 26 rating of 84. His FC 27 attributes include 86 pace, 83 shooting and 84 dribbling, reflecting his ability to carry the ball, take on defenders and contribute in the final third.

Lookman’s inclusion alongside Osimhen means Nigeria still has two representatives among Africa’s highest-rated players, although both have seen their overall scores decline.

Hakimi ends Salah’s run at the top

The biggest change in the African rankings is at the summit.

Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi leads with an 88 rating, while Salah follows on 87. Osimhen, Guirassy and Semenyo share the next position with 85, followed by Cameroon’s Bryan Mbeumo and Ivory Coast’s Yan Diomandé on 84.

Morocco’s Ismaël Saibari and Ivory Coast defender Evan Ndicka are also rated 83, alongside Lookman.

The rankings feature players from several African nations rather than one country dominating the list. Nigeria has two representatives, matching Morocco and Ivory Coast in that respect.

Where do the Super Eagles rank in FC 27?

Osimhen and Lookman remain Nigeria’s highest-rated male players in EA Sports FC 27, but the country’s top 10 list also includes the Super Falcons.

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is rated 85, matching Osimhen and placing her among Nigeria’s highest-rated players overall.

Alex Iwobi has an 80 rating, while Ola Aina, Raphael Onyedika, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze are among the Nigerian players rated 78 or higher.

The ratings are not a definitive measure of a player’s real-life quality, but they offer a snapshot of how EA Sports has assessed their attributes for the game.

For Nigeria, the picture is mixed. Osimhen and Lookman remain among Africa’s elite, but both have lost a point or more compared with FC 26. Hakimi, meanwhile, has moved ahead of Salah to become the continent’s highest-rated player in FC 27.
