Super Eagles and AFC Wrexham goalkeeper has revealed his preferred Nigerian all-time eleven players, Afrik Foot reports.
The 24-year-old recently switched International allegiance from England to Nigeria, and has been called up by Eric Chelle for the 2026 Unity Cup and the June International friendlies against Poland and Portugal.
Ahead of the opener against Zimbabwe next Tuesday, the former Arsenal goalkeeper was quizzed about his all-time Super Eagles team.

Ekong, Okocha included in Okonkwo’s Super Eagles XI
In goal, Okonkwo opted for two-time CAF Champions League and AFCON 2013 winner, Vincent Enyeama. The former LOSC Lille goalkeeper represented the Super Eagles over 100 times and is arguably the greatest to wear the Nigerian jersey.
In defence, the Wrexham man chose Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey and Elderson Echiejile.
Okonkwo combined strength, technicality and creativity in his midfield options, going for the trio of Wilfred Ndidi, John Obi Mikel and Jay-Jay Okocha.
