Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi is attracting interest from Premier League side Chelsea.
The highly-rated youngster has been in fine form for Dortmund and might be tempted to leave Signal Iduna Park for Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea and Juventus keen on Karim Adeyemi
Adeyemi could become part of a striker merry-go-round as he is also being considered by Italian side Juventus, who are looking to strengthen their attacking line with the impending departure of Federico Chiesa.
With the Italian forward expected to leave the Old Lady this summer, Juventus want Adeyemi but will have to fend off interest from Chelsea.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have also inquired about Roma striker Tammy Abraham. However, they could miss out on signing Karim Adeyemi, who is highly sought after by Chelsea.
New Juventus coach Thiago Motta emphasizes the use of wingers in his formations, and the Borussia Dortmund winger is among the names that have emerged within the Juventus setup. Motta is known to be a fan of Adeyemi's playing style.
However, it will not be straightforward for the Italian side, as reports now suggest that Adeyemi is also on the radar of Chelsea, who are beginning life under new coach Enzo Maresca after a disappointing campaign last season.
Tammy Abraham, who like Adeyemi has Nigerian heritage, just returned from a long-term injury. Reports in Italy suggest he might go out on loan to Juventus.
There is a significant possibility that both players could end up in Turin if the deals go through.
Will Borussia Dortmund be willing to let Aderemi go?
Adeyemi has been in good form lately in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund. He played 34 times in all competitions for Dortmund, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
Despite his form, he missed out on selection for Germany's squad for the 2024 European Championship.
As the transfer window heats up, both Chelsea and Juventus will be vying for the talented young winger, with a view of adding him to their ranks.
