Chelsea could face another managerial change at the end of the season if results do not improve, Afrik-Foot reports.
This is even as El Nacional suggest the club may replace Liam Rosenior with Unai Emery should they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The Londoners appointed Rosenior earlier this year after the departure of Enzo Maresca. Rosenior arrived from the French side RC Strasbourg, which is also part of the BlueCo ownership group. The move represented a major step up for the young coach, and while there have been positive moments, questions remain about whether he is the right man to lead Chelsea in the long term.
Chelsea have won ten of their last 16 matches under Rosenior, a run that has kept them competitive in the Premier League. However, they have also suffered setbacks, including elimination from the EFL Cup and a heavy defeat to Paris Saint‑Germain in Europe.

The Blues conceded three goals in the final 16 minutes of their first-leg clash in the Champions League round of 16, eventually losing 5-2. The result leaves them facing a difficult task in the return match at Stamford Bridge.
Despite that disappointment, Chelsea remain fifth in the Premier League table and are only three points behind rivals battling for the final Champions League places. Yet reports from Spain claim BlueCo ‘have no doubts’ that they ‘will look for a new manager’ if the club misses out on Europe’s elite competition.

Emery’s Chelsea conditions and why Osimhen is central
If Chelsea decide to make a change, Emery has emerged as one of the leading candidates. The Spanish coach, currently managing Aston Villa, has reportedly already held a ‘second meeting’ with Chelsea officials about the possibility of taking over.
According to those reports, Emery would only accept the job if he is given the power to reshape the squad. The 54-year-old is said to have requested five major transfer decisions, including two departures he considers ‘non-negotiable’. The players he has ‘put on the table’ to leave are Jamie Bynoe‑Gittens and Jorrel Hato. Selling the pair would help raise funds for the rebuilding project he wants at Stamford Bridge.
In terms of arrivals, Emery is reportedly asking Chelsea to strengthen three key positions: goalkeeper, centre-back and striker.

‘Starting with a top-quality goalkeeper who can solve the team’s problems. And the name they recommend is Diogo Costa from Porto.’ Costa, currently with FC Porto, is seen as a long-term solution between the posts.
The Spanish coach is also said to want an elite defender, with Nico Schlotterbeck of Borussia Dortmund named as his preferred choice.
But perhaps the most eye-catching demand is for a world-class striker capable of scoring more than 30 goals a season, a profile that matches Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen is currently impressing for Galatasaray and has produced remarkable numbers, contributing 55 goals and 15 assists in 68 appearances. His performances in European competition have only strengthened interest from major clubs.
Chelsea are not alone in the race. Real Madrid are also believed to be monitoring the Nigerian striker closely, even watching him from the stands during a recent Champions League match. Reports suggest the Spanish giants could prepare an offer worth more than €80 million.
Galatasaray, however, hope a bidding war between Europe’s biggest teams could drive the price even higher, potentially between €110 million and €150 million.
Osimhen only left Napoli permanently last summer for a Turkey transfer record fee of €75 million.
