Super Eagles and Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke has spoken about his lack of playing time at club level this season, Afrik Foot reports.

The 28-year-old has started just four of his 18 games for Matias Almeyda’s side this season, and his output hasn’t been great either.

The former Hertha Berlin man has scored just one league goal and provided another in the La Liga this term.

Ejuke speaks on limited Sevilla gametime

Ahead of Sevilla’s El Gran derbi against Real Betis tomorrow, Ejuke mentioned he’s not comfortable as he wants to play, but admitted he’s willing to help whenever he’s called upon.

“For me, I don’t mind, you know. I just want to be ready whenever I’m called upon by the coach,” the AFCON 2025 bronze medallist said in an interview with Muchedeporte.

“I don’t mind, I just want to be able to help the team. I enjoy playing football, and I always want to give my best.

“On some days, it [being on the bench] could be difficult, but I always put the team first.

“My dream is to win a trophy with Sevilla because in the past you’ve seen the team with the Europa League and everything.

“I want to be able to get this team to the moments where we can compete in Europe again and to become one of the best teams out there,” Ejuke concluded.
