Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has attracted the attention of Bologna, with the Serie A side reportedly emerging as a potential lifeline from his struggles at AC Milan.

The 25-year-old has found game time hard to come by since his move to the Rossoneri in the summer of 2023.

Earlier this week, reports in the Italian media suggested that AC Milan manager Sergio Conceição is frustrated with his squad's performances since taking charge and is pushing for reinforcements.

Chukwueze is reportedly among several players considered expendable to fund new signings, along with Emerson Royal, Strahinja Pavlovic, Noah Okafor, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Currently sitting seventh in the Serie A standings, I Rossoblu are looking to bolster their squad during the January transfer window and have identified the struggling Nigerian as a potential addition.

Chukwueze included in Milan’s bid to land Riccardo Orsolini

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan are considering parting ways with Chukwueze as part of their efforts to secure the services of Bologna winger Riccardo Orsolini.

The Rossoneri reportedly had an initial offer of €18 million plus Noah Okafor rejected last week, prompting the club to prepare an improved bid.

The new proposal is expected to include €20 million in cash and a six-month loan deal for Chukwueze, as Milan look to sweeten the deal and land their primary target during the January transfer window.

The Nigeria international has featured in 22 matches for Milan across all competitions this season, netting three goals, providing one assist, and averaging 47 minutes per game.

In recent weeks, Chukwueze has been linked with several undisclosed clubs in the Saudi Pro League. While no formal offers have been made yet, the club is reportedly open to his departure, raising questions about his future under the current management.
