He revealed that adjusting to a new environment, different tactics, and higher expectations has been demanding.
However, the midfielder expressed optimism, knowing that his coach’s support and the team’s encouragement are pushing him to become the best version of himself.
He believes that with consistent performance, his game will evolve as the season progresses. The midfielder is determined to fine-tune these skills and adapt to the unique demands of Serie A.
The 25-year-old midfielder is eager to continue developing his tactical awareness, which he views as key to his overall improvement.
“It's been a bit stop and start. But I think the coach is getting me used to the league, the new surroundings, and the challenges. I think it is helping me improve as a player; every day in training they are pushing me to be the best I can be. They are trying to get every little thing out of me, which is good for me.
“I think as the season goes on and as I play more games and have more experience, it should be good,” Dele told Football Fans Tribe.
He mentioned that while his attacking contributions remain crucial, enhancing his defensive abilities is a priority in order to thrive in Serie A's demanding environment.
“I think the main thing is my defensive side. My tactical awareness defensively—that's one thing I am hoping to improve on this season, and if I can do that, the future is looking good,” he noted.
