Super Eagles and Rangers centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez has cleared the air about the interest from other European clubs ahead of the transfer window this summer, Afrik Foot reports.
The 24-year-old moved to Ibrox from Peterborough United last summer for €3.5m, but has risen to prominence since then.
In his first top-flight season as a professional footballer, Fernandez made the SPFL team of the season, scored six goals for the Gers, and made his breakout into the Nigerian National team.
His development has caught the attention of clubs like Arsenal, Club Brugge, Ajax, West Ham United and Feyenoord.

Emmanuel Fernandez addresses transfer links
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premiership match at home to Motherwell, the young defender appeared unbothered by the rumours of other clubs circling.
“Look, I don’t really read into stuff like that. I’m just focused on the job that I’m doing here. If there’s noise going on, I’m happy for the noise,” the Super Eagles defender said in quotes revealed by the Scotsman.

“It’s a great achievement, I guess, or something that you can look to knowing that you’re doing well.
“But I feel like for me, right now, I’m focused on taking it game by game and winning the title and bringing it back for this club.
“I love it here.
“I see myself being here. I’ve still got four years left on my contract, whether that’s to run down my contract.
“I’m happy I’m here. I’m happy to carry on being here,” Emmanuel Fernandez concluded.

Fernandez’s focus, for now, is on winning the SPFL title to give James Tavernier a perfect sendoff after a decade’s work at Ibrox.
