Nigerian forward Samu Omorodion is reportedly attracting a host of English Premier League clubs.
The 19-year-old has made a strong impression during his loan spell at Deportivo Alaves this season, sparking increasing interest in him leading up to the summer.
Omorodion gained prominence at the beginning of the season by netting his debut senior goal for Granada against Atletico Madrid.
Shortly after, despite his lack of top-flight experience, Rojiblancos secured his services, subsequently loaning him to fellow La Liga outfit Alaves.
The Nigerian has shown considerable skill at Alaves, scoring eight goals in 29 matches. Due to his strong performances, there have been rumours linking him with a departure from Atletico Madrid, as he may not be assured of regular playing time upon his return at the end of the season.
Which English clubs are interested in Omorodion?
According to reports from CaughtOffside, Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and West Ham United have all set their sights on securing the services of promising young forward Omorodion.
While all three clubs are considering a potential transfer for the talented youngster, recent developments suggest that the Hammers may be leading the race, as they have reportedly engaged in discussions with Omorodion's agent regarding their interest.
The Gunners are also believed to be in the market for a young forward to bolster their attack and give competition to the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli.
With the summer transfer window approaching, interest in the 19-year-old continues to grow, with sources indicating that his current club, Atletico Madrid, could be open to cashing in on the youngster for a fee in the region of €60 million.
However, one key issue for Omorodion is his desire for regular first-team football next season. Having proven his worth with Alaves, the young forward is eager to continue his development and play a prominent role at the highest level.
It remains uncertain whether Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone will be able to provide the promising teenager with the assurances he seeks.
“I think it is not fair to talk about a boy who is ours and is on another side when the season is not over yet. The work that Samu is doing is being valued on its own and much more than that. When we have to finish the season and evaluate certain situations, I will surely be able to answer you with more things but today, I understand that another place and obviously I have to have respect for the other place where he is,” Simeone said in a recent interview.

Where does the Nigerian forward's international future lie?
Omorodion finds himself at a crossroads regarding his international football career.
Despite representing the Spain U-19 and U-21 teams, Omordion's eligibility to play for Nigeria remains intact, leaving questions about where his international future lies.
The question arises: given the abundance of talent in the Super Eagles' attacking lineup, is there a necessity for Samu Omorodion, especially with the presence of Victor Boniface, Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Terem Moffi, Paul Onuachu, Cyriel Dessers, and Umar Sadiq?
