Former Leipzig boss Jesse Marsch has taken a swipe at Super Eagles winger suggesting that the former Leipzig player'stunk' in training and was way off others during training.
Ademola Lookman was one of the stars of the last Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast. However, according to Marsch, his work ethic has not always been the best.
The former Leeds and RB Leipzig manager was in charge of the German side when Lookman had a stint in the Bundesliga during the 2021/22 season.

Marsch, during an interview on the CBS Sports Golazo Podcast, was asked about players he managed during his time who didn’t train hard enough or did not give their all during practice.
The American revealed that Lookman ‘stunk’ in training during their time at Leipzig and was not one of the better players during training sessions.
Marsch, who is currently without a job said “Ademola Lookman, maybe in Leipzig,” when asked about who he felt stunk and were not up to their best during training.
He mentioned other players like Kemar Lawrence at New York Red Bull and Crysencio Sommerville at Leeds United as examples of players who were not always at their best during training.
Despite the claims, Lookman has gone on to achieve great things since he left RB Leipzig.

Serie A beckoned and he joined Atalanta permanently last summer.
