NPFL: Facts and stats of the 2023/24 season

The 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season concluded approximately two weeks ago, with Rangers International emerging as champions, securing their first title since 2016 in a highly entertaining season.

Remo Stars secured the other Champions League spot and will represent Nigeria in the competition alongside the champions.

Enyimba, by finishing third, will compete in the CAF Confederations Cup, along with El-Kanemi, who recently won the President Federation Cup.

At the bottom of the league, Gombe United, Heartland, Doma United, and Sporting Lagos were relegated from the top flight.

  • Oge Emmanuel (Sunshine Stars) scored the first goal of the 2023/24 NPFL season while Kehinde Oshagbemi (Kwara United) scored the last goal of the season.
