Ferencváros winger Bamidele Yusuf has set his sights on a maiden invitation to the Nigeria national football team, expressing his desire to represent the Super Eagles and play alongside Victor Osimhen, Afrik Foot reports.
The Nigerian attacker has been in fine form this season, delivering standout performances both domestically and in Europe.
Across all competitions, Bamidele has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in 37 games for Robbie Keane’s side.

The 25-year-old believes his appearances this season have put him within reckoning for a call to the Nigerian National team.
“Every player wants to play on the biggest stage for his country. It’s a dream come true,” the former Estoril attacker said in an interview with Oma Akatugba.
“If I get called up, I would be the happiest person on earth.
“I believe the time is really close. I just want to keep working hard, my time will come.

The fleet-footed winger also paid tribute to Super Eagles stars including Victor Boniface, Paul Onuachu, and particularly Victor Osimhen, whom he described as a major source of inspiration.
“Osimhen is the biggest player in Africa. Everybody looks up to him,” he said.
“He’s a fighter and always wants to win. I really admire him, and I hope in the future I can be his partner in the national team,” Bamidele concluded.

Bamidele has been linked with several European clubs after having a career-best campaign so far this term, and Ferencvaros will be in a fight not to let go of the Nigerian.
