Former Nigeria U-23 forward David Okereke scored his first goal of the season for Gaziantepspor in their 2-2 away draw against Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
The Nigerian, who is on loan from Italian side Cremonese, opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, giving his team an early advantage.
However, the lead didn’t last long as Aylton Boa Morte equalised for the home side just two minutes later.
Gaziantepspor regained the lead before halftime when Polish striker Kacper Kozłowski found the back of the net.
But Kayserispor fought back, with Miguel Cardoso levelling the score in the 57th minute to secure a point for the hosts.

Okereke, 27, played the full 90 minutes and had a relatively good game.
Alongside his goal, he registered 19 touches, had one shot on target, and one off target.
His work rate was notable, winning two of his three aerial duels and two out of three ground duels.
Defensively, he contributed with two clearances, adding balance to his team’s overall performance.
The Nigerian striker’s first goal of the season will be a confidence booster as he looks to make an impact during his loan spell in Turkey.
His club, Gaziantepspor, currently 16th on the 20-team Super Lig table with six points from eight games, and they will hope Okereke’s form continues as the season progresses.
