Super Eagles attacker Kelechi Iheanacho has clinched his sixth senior career title following Celtic’s Scottish Cup victory on Saturday, Afrik-Foot reports.
The past month has been stellar for Iheanacho, who has emerged as a pivotal player for Celtic by scoring crucial goals in both the league and the cup.
Just last week, his efforts culminated in silverware as the club secured the Scottish Premiership title with a victory over Hearts at Celtic Park.

That triumph marked the fifth senior title of his career and his first since winning the Championship with Leicester City three seasons ago.
On Saturday, he added another piece of silverware to his collection as the Hoops cruised to a 3-1 victory over Dunfermline at Hampden Park to claim the Scottish Cup.

Aside from marking the sixth senior career trophy for Kelechi Iheanacho, the victory also secured Celtic’s 43rd Scottish Cup title.
To a significant extent, the Hoops owe this triumph to the Nigerian attacker. In the previous round, he struck a crucial extra-time brace against St. Mirren to propel his side into the final.

Then today, he came off the bench to seal the victory with a brilliant, composed finish.
Latching onto a through ball from Benjamin Nygren, Iheanacho dropped his shoulder to bypass his marker, rounded the goalkeeper, and slotted the ball into an empty net to make it 3-0.
Although Josh Cooper later pulled one back for Dunfermline to bring the final score to 3-1, it proved to be nothing more than a consolation goal.
This victory marks the first time Iheanacho has secured a domestic double in his career, and he will undoubtedly be looking to savor the success with his Celtic teammates.
