French Ligue 1 club Paris FC announced the appointment of English coach Liam Rosenior as their new manager on August 7, Afrik-Foot reports.
It is the English tactician’s first job since being sacked by Chelsea in April after a turbulent two-month spell.
For Rosenior, this is a return to familiar turf, as he previously coached Strasbourg before moving to Chelsea.
The 41-year-old tactician replaces Antoine Kombouaré and will be tasked with leading the club to a comfortable finish in Ligue 1, and possibly even qualification for continental football.
As he steps into his new role, Rosenior will be working with Super Eagles winger Moses Simon, who had a decent debut campaign at the club, recording three goals and three assists in 29 appearances.

Looking ahead to the next campaign, Afrik-Foot highlights three Nigerians who could make a difference for Paris FC.
3 Super Eagles Who Can Help Liam Rosenior Succeed At Paris FC
Wilfred Ndidi

Wilfred Ndidi’s status at Beşiktaş is currently hanging in the balance. He joined the club last summer, but there has been significant speculation that he could leave, as he does not appear to fit into new coach Vincenzo Italiano’s plans.
However, the Super Eagles star remains a high-quality player who would bolster the Paris FC midfield. Ndidi is a hard worker both on and off the ball; he can play a box-to-box role, and for a club that may not always dominate possession, he provides excellent defensive cover.
Moreover, he is currently valued at just €8 million, making him quite affordable for a club at Paris FC’s level.
Samuel Chukwueze

Samuel Chukwueze is another Super Eagles star whose future is uncertain. He is currently at AC Milan, but it does not appear he will play a key role under coach Rúben Amorim.
Given that Paris FC is in need of a winger, Chukwueze could be a fine addition. He is quick, a skillful dribbler, and can be a hard worker on the pitch, depending on how he is utilized.
The 27-year-old is available for €26 million this summer, a fee that fits within Paris FC’s budget.
Benjamin Fredrick

Nigerian center-back Benjamin Fredrick has recovered from a long-term injury and is now ready to play regular football.
Before his injury, Fredrick was one of the top prospects at the Brentford Academy, but the club sent him out on loan to Dender to gather playing time.
As it stands, it is uncertain whether he will feature prominently at Brentford next season, so a loan move to Paris FC would be a logical step. Fredrick is very comfortable with the ball at his feet, a quality coach Rosenior values. Although Fredrick has not played in France, he has the potential to shine there.
