Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has warned his players against the atmosphere at RAMS Park ahead of their UCL showdown against Galatasaray, Afrik Foot reports.
Both sides met earlier this season in Galatasaray’s home, but Victor Osimhen’s goal was the difference as Okan Buruk’s men sealed all three points.
After the game, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk spoke with Osimhen, discussing the intense atmosphere in Istanbul.

“If you don’t believe me, just ask van Dijk. I was speaking to him after our Champions League match against Liverpool, and he said, “Man, what kind of atmosphere is this!?”
“I said, “Brother, to be honest, if I never came here and someone just told me about it, I wouldn’t believe it,” Osimhen said.

“The whole atmosphere makes it completely different from any other away game I’ve ever played,” Slot said in quotes revealed by Express Star.
“So it’s every time when we had the ball, the noise, the whistling is that hard that sometimes you wonder if this could be done by human people.
“It’s so hard, it’s from the start till the end. The noise is even harder than when they score a goal.
“That is what you expect if you play the last 16. You know, every team you’re going to face is difficult because they’re there for a reason.
“And what makes it even more for us to know that it’s difficult is that we’ve already played there and we’ve lost. It’s a very good team,” the 47-year-old concluded.

In the same vein, Victor Osimhen has urged his teammates to give their all as they look to reach the Champions League’s quarter-finals for the first time since 2013.
