Nigeria international Moses Simon broke his duck for new club Paris FC in their Ligue 1 clash with Marseille on Saturday afternoon at Stade Velodrome.
The 30-year-old scored the game's fourth goal, in the 58th minute, to complete a comeback from two goals down. However, three goals in the final 20 minutes by Marseille consigned the newly-promoted side to their second consecutive defeat of the season.
A brace from former CAF Player of the Year Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was decisive on the day, but the visitors – and Simon in particular – were good value even in a 5-2 loss.

Moses Simon: By the numbers
Following a pass from Ilan Kebbal, Moses Simon stole in on the diagonal to finish confidently past Geronimo Rulli. Beyond his goal, however, it was a mixed performance from the former Nantes man.

The dazzling winger, typically a strong dribbler, only attempted two all game, completing one. He was not a major influence with his passing either, finding the mark with three of only five attempts, the lowest tallies of any player in the match.
In his 64 minutes of play, despite his minimal involvement in possession, he did provide a threat. He got two of three shots on target: one, the goal, but the other a crisp strike from just inside the left corner of the penalty area. He also had two big chances to score, one of which he put away.
