Eric Chelle Faces New Problem

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has a new problem to think about ahead of the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers later this month.

This comes as Frank Onyeka has become a doubt. He suffered an injury in Coventry City’s 5-0 loss at Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday. He appeared to have a bone issue and was obvious in a lot of pain.

Gift Orban on Fire in Turkey

One-time Super Eagles invitee just moved to Turkey with Amedspor, and he has set the league alight. On Sunday he scored a hat-trick for his club to help them to an unprecedented 5-0 smashing of former Champions Istanbul Basaksehir.

Orban scored in the 51st, 55th, and 74th minutes for his side to lead the to victory. He now has six goals in the Turkish Super Lig this season, level with Victor Osimhen at the summit of the goalscorers chart.
