Last season, Ankeye showed his potential in European competition, scoring three goals for Genoa against Servette Geneva and BATE Borisov.
Currently sitting in sixth place in the Romanian league with 32 points, Rapid will hope that Ankeye's goal-scoring ability will help propel them up the table as they push for European football next season.

However, his time in the UAE has been less fruitful, as he struggled to maintain a regular starting spot and failed to score in 12 appearances this season.

Kalmar’s current transfer record dates back to 2007, when they sold Brazilian forward Ari Ferreira to AZ Alkmaar. Osuji’s decision could lead to an even bigger payday, as clubs prepare offers matching Reims’ valuation.

Italian outlet Centotrentuno report that Serie A side Cagliari are pursuing a deal for Dessers. The striker previously featured in Italy’s top flight with Cremonese before their relegation in 2023.
