Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has admitted that Fenerbahçe’s Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium is the loudest venue he has ever played in, Afrik-Foot reports.
Aina featured prominently at right-back for Nottingham Forest during their trip to Istanbul to face the Turkish giants in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 playoffs.
While the fixture was expected to be a proper contest given the quality of both squads, the Tricky Trees made light work of their hosts.

The clinical performance saw goals from Murillo, Igor Jesus, and Morgan Gibbs-White secure a commanding first-leg advantage for Forest.
Aina was key in the victory, as he produced impressive numbers throughout the match. He recordes four interceptions, six ball recoveries, and three key passes.
He was also heavily involved in the play, as he recorded 60 touches and a decent 77 percent pass accuracy.
This victory ended a three-game winless streak for Nottingham Forest, putting them firmly in the driving seat ahead of the return leg at the City Ground next week.

He told a Turkish journalist that the stadium and the support were fantastic, noting specifically that it was the loudest environment he had encountered in his entire professional career.
“Fantastic stadium, fantastic support. It’s the loudest stadium I’ve ever been in my whole career, so I think they have a great fan base. It was a super game,” Aina told a Turkish journalist after the fixture.
While the Turkish Süper Lig may not be ranked among the top five leagues in the world, it has grown significantly in prestige over recent years.

One of the things that make it popular is the sheer intensity of its supporters, who are famously passionate and often drown out visiting teams with relentless noise.
With heavyweights like Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş boasting high-capacity stadiums, a sold-out crowd in Istanbul is definitely one of the most intimidating challenges for any opposition player.
As such, Aina and his teammates will be happy with their result.
