Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has revealed the club’s position regarding a possible transfer for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, Afrik-Foot reports.
The Nigerian forward has continued to attract strong interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with several top European clubs reportedly monitoring his situation including the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid.
Before joining Galatasaray in 2024, Osimhen was already one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe. He turned down a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, while a proposed transfer to Chelsea eventually collapsed due to personal terms.
The Super Eagles star then joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in the summer of 2024 and enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign. He scored 37 goals in all competitions as the Turkish giants secured a domestic league and cup double.

Following that impressive season, Galatasaray signed Osimhen permanently for a Turkish record fee of €75 million. He then followed it up with another strong campaign, scoring 22 goals as the club retained the league title.
Seven of those goals came in the UEFA Champions League, where he also finished with the most Man of the Match awards in the competition with four.
Dursun Ozbek shuts down Victor Osimhen’s exit from Galatasaray
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been widely tipped to leave Galatasaray this summer after winning three trophies in two seasons, with interest growing from several European heavyweights heading into the summer transfer window.
There were reports that that the Turkish champions could demand as much as €150 million before considering any offers for the Nigerian striker, hoping to recoup more than the €75 million they paid to sign him on a permanent deal last summer.

However, club president Dursun Ozbek, who played a major role in bringing Osimhen to the club, has now made it clear that Galatasaray have no intention of selling him.
“No”, Ozbek said via Forza Cimbom, when asked if the club would consider an offer for the Super Eagles striker.

With Galatasaray standing firm on their position, Osimhen’s future now appears increasingly settled heading into next season and will now be hoping to help the Turkish champions continue their domestic dominance, while also mounting a stronger challenge in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is expected to return to international duty with Nigeria next month for the friendly matches against Poland and Portugal, before linking up with Galatasaray for pre-season preparations ahead of the new campaign.
