Valencia striker Hugo Duro has lauded the silkiness of Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar in his side’s 3-2 win over Deportivo Alaves last Sunday, Afrik Foot reports.
After suffering to secure regular minutes in the first half of the season, the former Rangers striker joined Valencia permanently.
He’s scored three goals in 11 appearances for Carlos Corberan’s side, leading them out of a relegation battle.

Valencia: Hugo Duro lauds Sadiq Umar
In a five-goal thriller, the Nigerian striker failed to hit the target, but set up Javi Guerra’s goal just after the restart.
Duro came off the bench to secure the eventual winner in the 99th minute from the penalty spot, but was full of praise for Sadiq.

“I’m playing less minutes, and rightly so. Sadiq is spectacular with the ball and without it.
“The game he’s played, he’s looked tremendous to me. You have to be plugged in everyone, you don’t know when the time is going to come, I don’t know when Sadiq will stop playing like Pelé.
“There I will be fighting a war, but it is his moment, rightly, I am loving and I am here to help, as I think everyone,” the former Real Madrid striker said in quotes revealed by Mundo Deportivo.
