FC Porto head coach Francisco Farioli has jumped to the defence of Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi, Afrik Foot reports.
The 26-year-old, on loan from OGC Nice, was included in the starting eleven in the first leg of Porto’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final clash against Nottingham Forest.
Moffi missed two clear-cut chances and was withdrawn in the 58th minute, but the fans at the Estadio do Dragao booed him off, as Denis Gul came on in his place.

Ahead of Porto’s Liga Portugal clash against Estoril tomorrow, Farioli spoke about Moffi’s performance, claiming reactions like that are good because the viewers demand a lot from players.
“We know that our fans are demanding, which is good,” the 37-year-old said in quotes revealed by Ojogo Portugal.
