Former Brazil and FC Porto striker Bruno Moraes has urged the club’s coach, Francisco Farioli, to integrate Terem Moffi into the starting lineup gradually, Afrik Foot reports.
Moffi joined the two-time UEFA Champions League winners on loan from OGC Nice after falling out with the French club.
However, the 26-year-old has played just 21 minutes of football since joining the Portuguese side, despite Samu Orodion’s injury leaving him out of action till next year.

Moraes urges Porto to be patient with Terem Moffi
Although they’re top of the Liga Portugal, Porto haven’t been as proficient with goals this season. Francisco Farioli’s side have scored just 44 goals in 23 league games, 15 fewer than second-placed Sporting Lisbon.
However, they’ve made up for it with strength at the back, conceding just seven goals, five fewer than Sporting.
Bruno Moraes revealed that the goalscoring isn’t a problem, as long as the results are solid.

“Indeed, FC Porto hasn’t been scoring as many goals as at the beginning of the season, but it’s also true that they have suffered some injuries, like now with Samu,” the former Porto striker said in quotes revealed by One Football.
“They’ve not been as effective as usual and as the fans like to see, but the truth is that they have defended very well, they have balanced the game.
“Even by scoring just one goal sometimes in a game, they manage to get their points in the same way as if they had scored more goals.
“It’s a team that hasn’t scored many goals, but has been very competent in the defensive aspect,” the Brazilian pointed out.

Moraes is affirmative that Porto’s run of profligacy in front of goal is also temporary, but also urged for the need for time for the integration of players like Deniz Gul and Moffi.
“I think the goals will return, especially now that players like Deniz Gul and Moffi have more opportunities to integrate into the team, but they need some time to make the most of it.
“Sometimes it happens quickly, but other times it takes longer,” the former Santos man concluded.
