Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, completing a remarkable run of Nigerian arrivals in successive summers at the French giants.
The 2024 CAF POTY nominee joins on a free transfer after leaving Atlético Madrid, penning a deal until June 2027.
Ajibade becomes the third Nigerian to sign for PSG in as many windows, following defender Nicole Payne in 2023 and midfielder Jennifer Echegini in 2024. In total, she is the sixth Nigerian to wear PSG colours, after legends Jay-Jay Okocha, Godwin Okpara and Bartholomew Ogbeche also represented the club.

The forward captained Nigeria's Super Falcons to a record 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations crown last month, claiming Player of the Tournament honours. She was also the top scorer at WAFCON 2022 and a key figure in the Falcons’ best XI that year.

Her numbers at international level are even more telling: 20 goals in 38 appearances for the Super Falcons, a strike rate that underlines her influence as Nigeria’s attacking heartbeat.
Now, she links up with compatriot Jennifer Echegini in Gérard Prêcheur’s side, who are pushing to reclaim the Division 1 Féminine title from Lyon.
