Victor Osimhen’s chances of joining Real Madrid this summer could receive a major boost if Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain succeed in their attempts to sign Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior, Afrik-Foot reports.
The future of the Real Madrid star could be one of the most dramatic sagas of the transfer window after reports claimed talks over a new contract have slowed down. Although Vinicius is under contract until 2027, negotiations have reportedly reached a difficult stage because of disagreements over wages and his role in the team.
Real Madrid are believed to have made it clear that they will not break their wage structure, even for arguably their biggest star. If both sides fail to reach an agreement, Madrid could decide to sell him this summer rather than allow his value to fall in the coming months.

Manchester United and PSG ready to test Real Madrid
Manchester United and PSG are closely watching the situation and are preparing ambitious plans to sign the Brazil international, according to Football365.
United are said to be willing to submit an opening offer of around €120 million, with some reports suggesting the package could rise towards €200 million if competition for his signature increases. The Premier League club, previously interested in Osimhen, are also ready to offer Vinicius easily the biggest contract in English football.
PSG, though, are taking a different approach. The European champions reportedly hope to convince Vinicius to remain patient until next summer when he becomes a free agent before making their own move. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is believed to be prepared to meet the winger’s huge salary demands.

If Manchester United manage to sign Vinicius, Real Madrid could receive between €150 million and €250 million. That money would immediately strengthen the Spanish giants’ transfer budget for another world-class attacker.
Why Osimhen could become Madrid’s next priority
A big-money sale of Vinicius would naturally put Victor Osimhen among the leading names on Real Madrid’s shortlist.
The Super Eagles striker is often listed anong Europe’s three best centre-forwards after his performances for Napoli and Galatasaray. His pace, strength, aerial ability and relentless pressing make him the type of striker many believe Madrid have been missing.
The move would also solve another tactical issue. With Kylian Mbappe most effective from the left wing, Osimhen could lead the attack as a traditional number nine, allowing Mbappe to return to his favourite position while creating more space for Jude Bellingham and Madrid’s attacking midfielders.
Galatasaray are expected to demand around €140 million to €150 million if they eventually agree to sell the Nigerian striker. A Vinicius sale would give Real Madrid the financial power to meet such a valuation without putting pressure on the club’s finances.
No official offer has been made for either Vinicius or Osimhen at the moment, though. However, if Manchester United or PSG succeed in tempting the Brazilian away from the Santiago Bernabeu, the transfer market could witness one of its biggest domino effects, with Victor Osimhen emerging as a leading candidate to wear the famous white shirt of Real Madrid.
