With AFCON 2023 fast approaching, Senegal superstar Sadio Mane has managed to push away the pressure that comes with being defending champions but fueled some excitement across the continent as he got married to his longtime fiance, Aicha Tamba, in a private ceremony.

The marriage ceremony took place today in Keur Massar, Senegal and was attended by close family members and friends.

The Senegalese footballer who loves to keep his love life private was never married up until now and he had to refute claims via social media in late 2018 that he was to have a wedding with a Tunisian lady that was to be held in the Stadium Olympique de Sousse in Tunisia.
