Seven-time UEFA Europa League winners Sevilla are willing to part ways with Super Eagles striker Akor Adams this summer, Afrik Foot reports.
The 26-year-old moved to the Ramos Sanchez Pizjuan in January 2025, but only got into the thick of things this season before jetting out to Morocco to represent Nigeria at the AFCON tournament.
Adams helped Eric Chelle’s men secure a bronze medal in Morocco, scoring two goals and setting up another two.
After the competition, Saudi Pro League sides were reportedly offering up to thirty million euros for the ex-Montpellier man, but he wasn’t willing to make the move at this stage of his career.

Sevilla eye Joselu as Akor Adams replacement
Since Luis Garcia replaced Matias Almeyda in the Sevilla dugout two months ago, Akor Adams has found minutes hard to come by.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, the club are looking to balance their financial books and will be looking to sell some players.
As per El Gold Digital, Sevilla’s football director, Antonio Cordón, plans to bring in two attackers in the summer while offloading two, only if the team manage to maintain top-flight status, considering they’re 17th on the La Liga table.
Neal Maupay joined the Spanish side on loan from Marseille in January, and while there’s an option to make the deal permanent for a fee between €5m and €7m, the club will not be activating that clause, and the French-Argentine striker will rejoin Habib Beye’s side next month.

According to the Spanish outlet, Sevilla will also look to offload Adams, who has offers from the English Premier League.
The ex-Sogndal striker is currently valued at €12m on Transfermarkt, but the club are hoping they’ll be able to earn an additional €10m with his sale.
Still, the striker believes he still has a lot to offer Sevilla, playing down the possibility of an exit.
“No, no, I have not paid attention to anything. I do not focus on those things because they do not matter right now,” the Benue-born forward said in an interview with Footy Africa.
“I am only looking forward to finishing the season strongly with my club. My teammates and I are fully focused on the team at the moment.

To replace the Nigerian, Sevilla are monitoring the situation of ex-Real Madrid striker Joselu.
The 36-year-old currently plies his trade with Qatari side Al-Gharafa, and is out of contract this summer, opening the door for a return to Europe.
Cordon believes the struggles of his club came because they didn’t have a perfect replacement for Moroccan striker Yousef En-Nesyri. They’ve brought in Kelechi Iheanacho, Adams and Maupay, but those three don’t exactly have their strengths in winning aerial duels.

Another name that is being monitored is Patson Daka, who will leave Leicester City this summer after they were relegated to the third tier of English Football.
The Zambian is also a free agent, meaning Sevilla can use the money gotten from Adams’ sale to fund the players’ wages next season.
