Slovakia and Atletico de Madrid centre-back David Hancko has heaped praise on Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman, Afrik Foot reports.
The 28-year-old signed for Diego Simeone’s side earlier in the week, and after his first training session, was included in Atleti’s starting lineup in their Copa del Rey quarter-final fixture against Real Betis.
Lookman had a somewhat shaky start, scuffing two big chances in the first 30 minutes.

However, after Hancko and Giulanni Simeone got on the scoresheet, the former Atalanta man scored a brilliant solo goal to open his Atletico goalscoring account.
The second half continued in the same manner for the Nigerian; he set up Antoine Griezmann in the 62nd minute.
Lookman’s goal last night brought his career total into the century club.

Hancko lauds Lookman’s Atletico start
After the game, the 28-year-old defender was pleased with Lookman’s start, highlighting what he brings to the team’s attack.
“He’s a great player, and he definitely brought the rapidity and how fast he is,” Hancko said about the Nigerian in an interview with Sporty TV.

“Of course, he can drag a lot of players out because he’s a really great dribbler and he’s very fast.
“Then it can create so much more space for others, especially for Griezmann. You could see that we won the ball, he went and took two defenders out to play a nice pass for Grizzi.
“Hopefully, he can continue like this because he’ll definitely make this team better,” Hancko concluded.
Up next for the 2014 La Liga winners is another clash against Real Betis, but this time at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday.
