Kelechi Iheanacho Breaks Personal Record

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has continued to shine in the Turkish Lig. 1, as he scored for Bursaspor in their 2-0 win over Pendikspor at home. Iheanacho doubled the lead in the 63rd minute after Halil Akbunar had opened the scoring earlier in the first half.

Iheanacho headed home a short cross from close range, and that effort was just enough to seal the victory for the team.

The 30-year-old has now scored in 15 goals with three assists to his name in 11 league appearances. Iheanacho has scored in 12 straight games for club and country, the longest ever run in his career.
