Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has cleared the air about his future after parting ways with Chippa United in February, Afrik Foot reports.
The 29-year-old’s deal with the Chilli Boys was meant to run out in the summer, but he chose to part ways after the winter transfer window slammed shut, and is now without a club.
Nwabali recently hit out at the NPFL, largely about the standard of the league and the poor financial incentives players are entitled to.

Super Eagles: Nwabali hints at next club
The former Enyimba International number one wasn’t called up by Eric Chelle for the March friendlies against Jordan and Iran.
In his stead, Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho and Adebayo Adeleye all got minutes. However, Nwabali has clarified his future as regarding continuing his career in the PSL.
“So, there are rumours everywhere. Anyone talking about any club, it’s a rumour. When people wish you well, and they want you to do something, or they prefer you be at a club, playing,” the one-time NPFL winner said in quotes revealed by Goal.

“It’s not like it’s a bad idea, you know. Someone bringing up the rumours or some other thing. But it’s not a bad idea.
“When someone is relevant and when they know this person’s quality and some other thing, you take them to some other place. It’s not like it’s a bad thought, but, it’s a rumour.
“So, when you see me signing (for) any club, then you will know from the day I’m going, or probably the day I’m wearing the club’s shirt.
“I’m not worried. I don’t really have a particular place or a particular country I want to play. So, anywhere that welcomes me well, I can play,” Nwabali concluded.

Should Nwabali remain clubless by May, there’s a high chance he won’t be involved in the 2026 Unity Cup and the friendlies against Poland and Portugal.
