Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Chuka Iwobi has been nominated for the March Premier League player of the Month, Afrik Foot reports.
The 29-year-old is vying for the award alongside Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Everton’s James Garner, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, Arsenal’s David Raya, and Brighton’s Danny Welbeck.
The 97-cap Super Eagles midfielder is currently on International break, and will most likely be in action in the upcoming matches against Iran and Jordan.

Super Eagles: Alex Iwobi nominated for March POTM Award
Iwobi was involved in four games in March, against Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest and Burnley.
Two of those fixtures ended in victory for the Cottagers, while they lost against the Hammers and drew to Forest at the City Ground.
Iwobi found the back of the net against Spurs with a brilliant side-footed effort to beat Gugliemo Vicario.

Bruno Fernandes scored two goals and provided four assists in March for Manchester United. The Portuguese midfielder was also involved in two wins for Michael Carrick’s Red Devils.
Everton’s James Garner also provided two crucial assists as David Moyes’ men sealed two vital wins to get in contention to qualify for Europe.
Morgan Gibbs-White scored three goals for Nottingham Forest while Anthony Gordon scored two goals for Newcastle in March.
David Raya kept two clean sheets in three games for Arsenal, while Danny Welbeck has been getting shouts to be a part of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after scoring three goals in two starts this month.
