Tolu Arokodare: Mane breaks silence amid “fight” report with Super Eagles star at Wolves

Wolves striker Mateus Mane has broken his silence amid reports of a dressing room bust-up with Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, Afrik-Foot reports.

On Sunday night, news broke of an alleged dressing room fight between Tolu Arokodare and his Wolves teammate Mane following last week’s 4-0 thrashing at West Ham.

According to those reports, the towering Nigerian striker was the aggressor, and it took the intervention of teammates to end the scuffle.

The reports also stated that Arokodare was fined afterwards, although neither the club nor any of the players have officially commented on the matter.

Throughout the speculation, the Super Eagles star has remained active on social media as usual. However, in a new development, Mane took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and Arokodare at a photoshoot, with the caption, “big bro.”

As it stands, it is difficult to determine whether Tolu Arokodare and Mateus Mane actually had a physical altercation, as Wolves have remained silent on the matter.

Also, Arokodare was still included in the matchday squad for their recent game against Wolves, which they lost 3-0. Had the Nigerian truly been disciplined for misconduct, he likely would have been suspended.

Meanwhile, Mane’s post could be interpreted in several ways. It might have been a move to dispel the speculation or a way to confirm that while they may have fought, they have since settled their differences. As such, the true nature of the situation remains unclear.

Amid all the drama, Wolves are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, sitting 15 points away from safety. If they lose their next game against Tottenham, their relegation to the English Championship will be sealed.
