Reigning European champions PSG are plotting a surprise summer transfer for Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman, Afrik-Foot reports.
Lookman has established himself as one of Europe’s elite forwards over the last three seasons, delivering standout performances for both Atalanta and Atletico Madrid.
Before his January move from La Dea, he registered an impressive 55 goals and 27 assists in 137 appearances.

Most notably, he propelled Atalanta to their first-ever European trophy three years ago, netting a historic hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
Since joining Los Rojiblancos at the turn of the year, Lookman’s momentum has not slowed. He has already contributed seven goals and four assists in just 18 appearances for Atletico. Despite his recent arrival in Madrid, his form is already attracting major interest from across the continent.
According to Fichajes, the Nigerian international—who boasts 11 goals in 43 caps for the Super Eagles—has emerged as a primary target for PSG.

Coach Luis Enrique is reportedly eager to bolster his attacking options for next season, and Lookman fits the profile perfectly: he is quick, versatile, and possesses an impeccable eye for goal. However, securing a deal so soon after his move to Spain may prove difficult.
Why Signing Lookman Might Be Difficult For PSG
Although reports suggest that Lookman is a big target for PSG, getting the deal done will be difficult.
The Super Eagles star only just moved from Italy to Spain, and he seems to be living his best life right now. He is scoring and assisting goals aplenty – As earlier stated, he has chipped in with seven goals and one assist in 18 appearances.

Given the fact that he is very comfortable in Madrid at the moment, he might not exactly be thawed by the idea of adjusting to life in Paris so soon.
Moreover, he has the love of Diego Simeone, who has always lavished praises on him. And even if he were to decide to leave, Atleti would demand a mammoth fee to sanction a transfer. These factor make it quite unlikely that Lookman will leave Spain for PSG.
Nonetheless, while a transfer appears unlikely, it is the transfer market, and anything could still happen.
