There’s a brewing storm at Galatasaray concerning the potential acquisition of Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel

The Turkish giants appear keen on securing the services of the talented 26-year-old Nigerian right-back, stirring whispers of reunion with Victor Osimhen.

As the clock ticks down to the new transfer window, the dynamics of his future are becoming increasingly intriguing, with multiple parties vying for his signature.

Galatasaray has reportedly initiated contact regarding Osayi-Samuel, intensifying speculation surrounding his next move.

Osayi-Samuel to Galatasaray: Shocking Super Eagles move on the horizon

The Nigeria star has turned down a contract extension from the Yellow Canaries, creating uncertainty about his long-term commitment to the club.

With a significant €1 million gap between the offers on the table, the pressure is mounting.

As rumours swirl about Samuel's potential departure, many wonder if Fenerbahçe will ultimately allow their prized full-back to leave, especially with the prospect of losing him for nothing when his contract expires next summer.

Adding to the speculation, Samuel commented on his future following Fenerbahçe's recent UEFA Europa League clash with Manchester United, stating, “I don’t know, it’s not up to me.”

Former Fenerbahçe manager Murat Aşık recently shared insights about the situation, revealing that Osayi-Samuel seeks €2.5 million—an amount English clubs have been hesitant to meet.

Aşık criticised Galatasaray’s approach, suggesting it reflects their pattern of courting players nearing the end of their contracts, a move he deems unethical considering Samuel has over six months left in his deal.

“Osayi Samuel wants €2.5M. The English are not giving it, so Galatasaray is. Tampering with the player, which is Galatasaray's favourite thing. It is an unethical situation because there are more than 6 months left on the contract,” Murat Aşık said.
