Napoli legend Antonio Careca has heaped praise on Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen for the heights he has propelled Napoli to since his arrival.
Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 from Ligue 1 club Lille and quickly established himself as a key player, with his goal-scoring prowess playing a crucial role in propelling the club to their first Scudetto title in 33 years.
The 25-year-old is set to depart the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and is heavily linked with a move to either England or France in the summer.
Despite Osimhen's €130 million buyout clause, some clubs remain interested in enticing him away from Napoli.

The Napoli legend shared his sentiments on Osimhen's potential departure, expressing hope for the Nigerian striker's future endeavours.
“I hope that he can continue to do well just like he did in Naples. I met him, he is a respectable boy and he did very well with Napoli, scoring many goals and contributing to the championship victory,” Careca told Napoli magazine.
“Should he really leave, we must find a new player worthy of Osimhen,” he ended.
Careca, 63, played for the Naples club from 1987 to 1993, amassing 164 games and scoring 73 goals.
He was a member of the Napoli team that won Serie A in the 1989-90 season, as well as the UEFA Cup and the Super Coppa in 1989-90.
The Brazilian also achieved individual success, earning the FIFA World Cup Silver Boot in 1986 for placing second behind Gary Lineker with five goals.
Careca made 64 appearances for the Brazil national side and scored 30 goals.
