Victor Osimhen: Super Eagles star now valued below Isak, Lautaro & 5 European forwards

Victor Osimhen’s market value has slipped into unfamiliar territory, with the Super Eagles striker now valued at €65 million by Transfermarkt, Afrik-Foot reports.

This new figure puts the Nigeria and Galatasaray striker below several elite forwards operating in Europe’s major leagues.

The 27-year-old’s valuation has fallen from €75m in Transfermarkt’s May update, when he was ranked 45th in the world, and sits well below the €120m peak he reached during his Napoli years.

Yet the fall has arrived against a curious backdrop. Osimhen began the 2026/27 campaign with six goals and two assists in four Süper Lig appearances, scoring twice against Çorum, twice against Erzurumspor, then striking against Göztepe and Başakşehir.

The European forwards ahead of Victor Osimhen

Transfermarkt’s figures place several familiar attacking names above the Nigerian.

Victor Osimhen’s new value now places him in 13th place among the world’s finest centre-forward, far behind Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in first place. Haaland is the most valuable player in the world with an estimated worth of €220 million, 20 million euros more than Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe.

Those elite pair are followed by Atletico Madrid ace Julian Alvarez (€120m) and PSG superstar Ousmane Dembélé (€100m).

Alexander Isak is valued at €85m, same as Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martínez. Liverpool man Hugo Ekitiké and Chelsea ace João Pedro both carry an €80m valuation. Manchester United duo of Benjamin Šeško and Matheus Cunha are both priced at €75m.

Still ahead of Victor Osimhen are AFC Bournemouth star Junior Kroupi and Barcelona ace Raphinha, each with a value of €70m.

That gap is even more striking when attacking players beyond the traditional No.9 role are included. Jérémy Doku, Kenan Yıldız and Raphinha are each listed at €70m, putting them €5m above Osimhen.

Interestingly, Osimhen shares the €65m mark with Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres, whom he could have replaced in the summer. Both men are €5m ahead of Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane and Napoli ace Rasmus Højlund.
