Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has revealed he’s not opposed to joining Juventus in the summer, Afrik Foot reports.

The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last season in what was a tumultuous transfer saga. He’s gone on to admit that he could’ve joined Juventus in the same year but for the powers that be.

Ultimately, Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently last summer and scored against Juventus last night on his first visit to Turin since leaving Napoli.

Speaking after Galatasaray’s win at the Allianz Arena, the 2023 CAF Player of the Year revealed he’s happy at RAMS Park, but anything can happen in the future.

“Juventus spoke to me, and I was close to joining them, but there were some obstacles standing in the way. I don’t want to call names, but I think this club [Juventus] is a very big club, rich in history, and for me, one of the very best in the world.

“If they want a player, they go for a player,” Osimhen said in an interview with Prime Video Italy.

“I don’t know where the future holds. I’m in a club I’m loved where so much, the respect between myself and Galatasaray is very mutual.

“We don’t know what might happen, but I think Juve is a club that’ll be good in my books to play for.

“However, I live for the moment, and I’m at one of the best clubs in the world currently, enjoying myself,” the ex-LOSC Lille man concluded.
