Galatasaray's recent 3-0 win over Antalyaspor will be remembered for many reasons, but none more so than a breathtaking moment from Victor Osimhen in stoppage time that left fans stunned.
A match that seemed to be winding down suddenly had an explosive finale when Victor Osimhen, having entered the game from the bench, delivered a magnificent overhead kick to seal the victory for the Turkish champions.
The Super Eagles forward had initially thought he had two goals to his name. However, the first was disallowed.

But it was his second effort—a goal so exceptional that it immediately sparked discussions about its place among the best of the year—that stole the show.
Could this stunning goal put Victor Osimhen on the Puskás radar?
After the match, Osimhen couldn’t contain his joy, not just for securing the crucial points but also for scoring in such spectacular fashion.
He dedicated the goal to his coach, Okan Buruk, who was celebrating his birthday.
“The goal was an incredible goal. We got 3 points from here, and I am very happy about that. I dedicate this goal to our coach; today is his birthday,” he told the club website.
While reflecting on the match, the 25-year-old acknowledged that the team struggled in the first half but eventually found their rhythm, largely thanks to Mauro Icardi's decisive contributions.
Despite the earlier frustration of having his first goal ruled out, Osimhen maintained that the most important aspect of the day was the team’s ability to secure three points and move forward in their campaign.

“When we looked at the first half, we were not that good; we took the lead thanks to Mauro's goals, and we were able to play much better in the second half. We had a 4-day holiday, and as a result we rested well; now we will continue the same way,” Osimhen said.
When asked whether his jaw-dropping overhead kick could be in the running for the prestigious Puskás award, Osimhen responded confidently, saying,
“Of course it could happen. It was an incredible goal. Why not a classy goal, maybe?”
