Victor Osimhen made a triumphant return to action for Galatasaray, scoring a stunning bicycle kick in their 3-0 Turkish Super Lig victory over Antalyaspor on Saturday.

The Nigeria striker, who had been sidelined due to injury, came off the bench late in the match to seal the win for the Yellow and Reds.

Osimhen, who only resumed training earlier in the week, started the match on the bench as Mauro Icardi led the line for Galatasaray. The Argentine forward put on a stellar display, netting twice before being substituted for his Nigerian counterpart in the 78th minute.

The Super Eagles star wasted little time making an impact.

Osimhen's return a boost for Gala

Initially, Osimhen thought he had scored just three minutes after coming on, but the goal was ruled out for offside after a VAR review.

However, the 25-year-old wasn’t deterred and continued to search for his breakthrough. In stoppage time, he delivered a moment of magic, scoring an acrobatic bicycle kick that left the Antalyaspor goalkeeper stranded.

Despite another VAR check, the goal stood, capping off a memorable return for the on-loan striker, who has now scored three goals in just four league appearances for Galatasaray this season.

Since joining Galatasaray on loan, Osimhen has wasted no time in establishing himself as one of the club’s most important players. His three goals in four league appearances speak to his effectiveness in front of goal, while his physicality and sharp movement have given Gala an edge in attack.
