MC Alger coach Rulani Mokwena has been facing one challenge after another in the last couple of weeks.
The celebrated South African tactician failed to guide his team into the quarter-final of the CAF Champions League as Mamelodi Sundowns beat them at Loftus Versfeld Stadium to finish second in Group C.

Last Friday, February 20, El Mouloudia were beaten 2-1 away to MC Oran in the Algerian Ligue 1 outing that denied the table toppers an opportunity to increase the gap between them and second-placed Constatine.
It got worse on Thursday night as the People’s Club were held to a goalless draw with Kabylie in another Algerian top-flight fixture. Nevertheless, the game against MC Oran is the one that put the former Wydad Athletic Club coach into problems.
